I have been organising annual weekend Conferences in Blackpool for 21 years. The  people who attend have the  eye disease Retinitis Pigmentosa and  are  usually accompanied by their families and friends.  I moved to the Carousel Hotel in 2006, following the closure of my usual venue. The Manager, Luci O'Neill and all her Staff have been excellent with support  and friendly approach. I usually take over the whole Hotel and with up to 90 people, and many with poor sight, the event can be quite chaotic!! An added bonus is that Guide Dogs are made very welcome.

The staff have all had Sight Awareness Training and this has given confidence to people who come on their own. The food is wonderful, along with lovely bedrooms and good entertainment. The Fylde Suite is an excellent room for meetings, with microphones and projectors.  I have also used the Carousel Hotel for family parties, Christmas parties, and Training weekends for the RP Helpline. I  highly recommend the Carousel Hotel for any kind of Function.
