"As the organisers of the very successful Keighley Okeh Soul Club we decided to have our annual away weekend "It's Okeh By The Seaside" at the Carousel Hotel Blackpool 5 years ago - and we are now organising our 6th event in January 2016. We have our regulars at The Weekender who book year on year and have done for the past 6 years, they turn up on Friday Lunchtime park their cars and never leave the Hotel until Sunday morning as they love The Carousel Hotel....

I have been organising annual weekend Conferences in Blackpool for 21 years. The people who attend have the eye disease Retinitis Pigmentosa and are usually accompanied by their families and friends. I moved to the Carousel Hotel in 2006, following the closure of my usual venue. The Manager, Luci O'Neill and all her Staff have been excellent with support and friendly approach. I usually take over the whole Hotel and with up to 90 people, and many with poor sight, the event can be quite chaotic!! An added bonus is that Guide Dogs are made very welcome.

"The Carousel has been an accommodating host for The North West Forum of Credit Unions annual conference for the last 3 years. The hotel is clean, amenable, staff friendly and willing to help in any way they can and the food has always been excellent with a good choice and potion size.
